Harry & Wayne

Harry who was the leader of the men’s golf league at Marvel Rapid was presented with his portrait by the talented artist Wayne Martin. Wayne is a special friend to Apsley Voice as he has offered to relieve my son Peter Hughes from his task of doing our web site. Peter has done our web site for many years as he takes an interest in his mother’s endeavours. Wayne is interested in helping A.V. because of his interest in our community. He has property on Jake Lake and can be reached at 656-3540 (summer) 905-983-5085 (rest of the time).

New Municipal Building Offers Much More!

Connie Parent shows the new kiosk, in the lobby of the new building. This kiosk was paid for by a $60,000 grant from the Ontario Government so we can search for Ontario Government Services. We can also access the services of the North Kawartha Township.
