Got the urge to make art,
but no place to do it? Need a little encouragement to dust off the paint
box and get back at it? Join the Artists at Large club at the Wilson Park
Community Centre on Thursday evenings for a low key, self-paced work
session. This group will commence their activities on Thurs April 26th
from 6:30pm to 9:30pm and meet every Thursday thereafter. If you would
like more information regarding this activity, please call Sally Yardley

The Apsley Antique Auction
will be making another appearance at the Apsley Community Centre on May
19th. If you have items that you would like to include in the auction,
please call Wally James at 656-9467. Soccer will begin in May at the
Apsley Public School on Thursday evenings. Come on out and cheer the
children on!
The Annual Swim Program
registrations have been coming in fast. If you are considering registering
your children in the Swim Program, forms are available at the Municipal
Office or our website at
www.northkawartha.on.ca
The evening activities are
going strong at the Apsley Public School. However, parent volunteers are
required for the Monday Night Kids Drop-In Program. If you can volunteer
one night monthly, please call 656-4922 ext 3.
2007 Swim Program
• The 2007 Swim Program
will include both the Red Cross and LifeSaving Society Programs.
• The first session
will run from July 2nd to July 20th at both Quarry Bay and Chandos
Beaches.
• The second session will
run from July 23rd to August 10th at Chandos Beach only.
