the suns warming rays. Can you hear it, the birds songs as they return
from the south, can you see it, as the ice and snow leave to be replaced
by the grass that has slept through the winter". Come on out on Sat. March
3rd. Folks its time to celebrate! Spring is just around the corner.

local artists that will get your toe tapping and maybe even entice you to
take your partner for a swirl around the "dance floor" (parking lot).
Enjoy the trapper's carnival with exhibits and understand this sustainable
harvest. There will be dog sled races and maybe even a ride for the little
ones. There is going to be a giant bake sale by the local church groups so
come early, as these scrumptious delicacies won't last long. The Lion's
booth will be open throughout the day with everything from a breakfast
sandwich to hearty soup or stew for lunch. The Royal Canadian Legion is
hosting a roast beef dinner Saturday evening, followed by a dance. This
is sure to be a sell out event so get your reserve tickets early so not to
be disappoint

you can create a snow sculpture together or free public skating. Hockey
teams or other groups such as cottage associations, or whomever, can
challenge the Fire Department to a good old tug of war to stretch out
those weary winter muscles.

There is going to be exhibits by groups such as the OPP and the MNR so
bring your questions for such things as the latest fishing regulations or
boating regulations. There are numerous events planned which include
everyone from infant (baby crawl) to adult (ladies nail driving contest)
to name a couple, so come on out and spend the day together just having
some plain old fun! For all too soon spring will be here Sat. March 3rd
and this is just a great way to send winter on its way until next year.
