Rapids Inter-Lake Golf Tournament 
by Helen Osborne The 6th Annual Inter-lake Final Tournament at Marvel Rapids Golf Course was won this year by Michael Boyer and his three sons, Jason, Ryan and Brandon with a score of 30 (6 under par). The Boyers represented Jack's Lake. Twelve teams competed in a scramble to win the David Hilker Memorial Trophy presented by Angie and Cathy Hilker and a unique glass trophy designed and created by Sue Rankin, White Dog Studio and donated by Rick French, Bowes and Cocks. Second place went to Chris, Doug and Meghan Bean and Mike Darwin, Paudash Lake. Dave Alexander, John Fierheller, Al and Glenn Smith from Chandos Lake place third. |
