Trinity United Church
Our Vacation Bible School was held Aug. 16-20. Under the leadership of Shirley Rooke, there was a lively program of stories, games, videos and crafts. Assisting Shirley were Kevin Bailey, Ann Young, Deana Wagner, Fay Henry and Bob Cottrell. Rev. Don Green performed a mock Baptism Service with the help of one of the boys and girls who volunteered to be the parents. They did an admirable job and baby Charlie Brown was duly baptised. A special treat was provided by Bob Young who made his delicious s'mores. Apart from setting off a smoke detector, we all ate well.

Bob was a happy outgoing guy who loved his family and the great outdoors. I have lost a life long partner and great friend. He will be in my thoughts forever. Also greatly missed by his children and grandchildren.
