CHURCH NEWS

Trinity United Church church
Sunday @ 11:30 am   Rev. Peter Robinson  Phone(613) 339-3295
Vacation Bible School was held from August 18th to the 22nd. The theme for this year was  Christmas in August. We talked about the meaning of Advent and the four Sundays in Advent. The Christmas story was presented in four parts: the Angel's announcement to Mary and Joseph; the journey to Bethlehem; the shepherd's story; and the wise men. Each day we read from the Bible, prayed, sang songs, played games, had a snack, watched Christmas videos, and made a take home craft. We also made a group banner that was a gift for the church. The children and helpers had wonderful time learning about God's love.
