Mother's Day
Essay Contest Winners “WHAT MAKES MY MOM SPECIAL” Well, what a tough job it was, but finally after much deliberation we had 2 winners. We thank all the young people who submitted their essays about their Moms. They were all wonderful and touched our hearts. The Apsley Pharmacy thanks you for participating and may the Moms enjoy their spa baskets. 
Age 11 to 14 Category: Taylor Russell (12 years old) “What makes my Mum special is that she’s the strongest person I know! She took me into her home although I’m not her blood daughter. My mum is the one who helps me with everything even is she’s upset with me. I Love her, just as she loves me.” 
Age 6 to 10 Category: Alyssa Young (6 years old) “My Mom is special because she walks us up to the bus stop and she is kind and she lets me go for bike rides. She cooks good and she makes good juices. She lets us go outside and she asks us how our day was.” |
