MEDIA RELEASE: Peterborough County O.P.P. was called to the
Liquor Store in Buckhorn around 11 a.m. Tues. Apr. 29th, to investigate
an allegation of shoplifting. Officers responding to the call spotted a
suspect walking along County Road # 23 out of Buckhorn. The man was in
possession of a brand new lawnmower, found to be the property of the Buckhorn
Hardware store located nearby. Two bottles of liquor were also recovered
in relation to the theft call at the Liquor Store. Officers arrested Thomas
Walter Boyle, 46 . He is charged with two counts of theft and Resisting
Arrest.
