Apsley Lions 16th Annual Flea Market

Special thanks must be extended to the community for their generous donations that have made the Flea Market a success!  The Lions Club recognize this as a major fundraiser necessary for community projects.

The Flea Market is the shopping event of the season.  Many local craftspeople also have display tables featuring gifts for any occasion.  You can enjoy a delicious lunch on site at the Lions booth in the Park or at the Community Centre kitchen prepared by the Women’s Institute.  The Club is very pleased to have at the Market – ArtWays.  This is a first time endeavour made possible by many of our local artists.  They will have demonstrations to show how they create.  You can paint a t-shirt, work with clay, take a historical walking tour, get a caricature, ride in a vintage car or have your face painted.  There are much more to see and do during this very interesting event.

For further information contact Lion Fred at 656-3220 or Lion Joan at 656-3727.

Don’t miss this great show in the Park for the whole family and it is all in support of the North Kawartha Health Centre renovation.  A must for our community.
