Swim Lessons! The Annual Red Cross Swim Program is gearing up for another successful year. The lessons begin on July 7th at Chandos Beach and Quarry Bay Beach.  Lessons begin on July 28th and Jacks Lake Landing and Chandos Beach.  Registration forms can be downloaded from the Township website, http://www.northkawartha.on.ca. Please refer to calendar of events for Swim Lessons schedule.

Video Dances!!  The Apsley Community Centre will be hosting  Video Dances  on August 2nd and 30th starting at 9pm.   Watch for posters!

The Lions Flea Market will be on July 19th at the Apsley Community Centre.  There is something for everyone. 

The 3rd Annual North Kawatha Community Bike Rodeo was another success.  All the children that attended with bikes were able to have their bikes checked and then participate in an obstacle course or rally.  There were many amazing entries for the poster contest.  The demonstrations by the Wilson Park Karate Club, O.P.P. Canine Unit, and the Magic Show were very popular.  There were also information booths set-up by various clubs The demonstrations by the Wilson Park Karate Club, O.P.P. July 7- 25- Afternoon Session. Register on July 7 @ 11.30am-1pm at location
July 28 to August 15  Morning Session Register July 28th @ 9-10.30am at location

Quarry Bay Beach
July 7 to July 25 ( Morning Session )Reg. at location July 7 from 9:00 to 10:30am

Jacks Lake Landing Jul 28- Aug 15 ( Aftenoon )
Reg. at location July 28 from 11:30 - 1:00pm.

Fee: $ 40. 1 child  / $ 70. for two  / $ 95.three or more
 * all children must be accompanied by immediate family.

Register at the above dates and locations or in advance at the Municipal Office located in Apsley. The first day of each 3 week session will be reserved for registration and scheduling.  There will be no swim lessons on this day. If you have registered in advance you will receive a phone call on this day notifying you of your lesson time. There will be no swim lessons on August 4th ( Civic Holiday).
