Coming Events:

July 1:   Canada Day Steak Fest Dinner - Join us after the parade for steak dinner.

July 11:   Teen Dance, Upstairs Legion Hall, 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM, ages 10 to 15. 
$3.00 per person.   "Tropics" theme, so come dressed in your Hawaiian outfits.   Chips, pop and popcorn available. 

July 26:   5th Annual Bruce Harris Horseshoe Tournament (rain day:  July 27). Come out and enjoy hot dogs, hamburgers, pop and other refreshments.Children welcome to watch and have fun.   Registration at 9:30 AM; Start at 10:00 AM.Breakfast available prior to tournament (9:00 AM):  peameal bacon on a bun.

Continuing activities through the summer:

Monday Nights: Darts, sign-in 7:-7:30 PM; start 7:30 PM.  $2.00 per player.Everyone over 19 welcome!

Thursday Nights:  Horseshoes, sign-in 6:30-7:00 PM; start 7:00 PM.  $3. per player .Everyone over 19 welcome!

Legion Hours:

Monday:  1:00 PM to 11:00 PM
Tuesday:  1:00 PM to 7:00 PM
Wednesday:   1:00 PM to 7:00 PM
Thursday:   1:00 PM to 11:00 PM
Friday:   1:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Saturday:   12:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Sunday: 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM

Marval Rapids Golf Course & Driving Range

Juniors -  Lessons- 4 Mondays in July 7 to 26th  one hour in duration, 2 -5 p.m.-7-16 year olds, $40 per child (Tues. rain date) - balls and clubs provided

Ladies- Tuesdays, May 6 to Oct.7th  @  9:00 a.m “Just for FUN”-not for competition - 3rd Wed. each  month- join us for ‘away’ games at other courses

Men — Thursdays, May 8 to Oct.9th @ - 9:00 am. “Just for FUN”-not for competition

Money Scrambles- 5: p.m. Fri- Jul 18th  & Aug 15th - 2 person scramble, $24 per person, 9 holes

Take Your Daughter to the Course Week  July 7-11th   daughter or daughter-in-law plays free, parent pays green fee

Take a Kid to the Course Week 7-11th   FREE for kids under 15 years

Fundraising Tournament July 20 th  ( 4 person scramble) Lifelong Learning Centre/Library Win a Buick from Boyers for a Hole-In-One

Range fees: $3.27 -small bucket or $4.67-large bucket

Green fees: $17.76 - 9 holes  Book tee times at 656-GOLF
