The Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police is pleased to announce it has a new administrative leader.   Inspector Ed Robertson, a veteran O.P.P. officer with over 30 years service, has been officially appointed as Commander for the Peterborough County O.P.P. Detachment. Inspector Robertson has been the Acting Commander since July 7, 2004.

It is with some disappointment I let you know that effective Monday January 10 that I will be seconded to the OPP
Provincial Court Office in Peterborough for an indefinite period of time.  January 6, I was instructed I would be there Mon - Fri starting Monday January 10, and doing court duties only.

Constable Brad Filman will continue with the media relation duties for the foreseeable future and queries should now be directed to him.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my media duties, be safe.
