KNIT What’s Next?
| Janice Grffith Kawartha North Innovation for Tomorrow is a grass roots organization operating since 1996. (It’s name has recently changed from Kawartha North Community Internet Access). We are incorporated as a not-for-profit organization. Some of our pet projects have been bringing internet access to the area, establishing and operating CAP sites, a Community Web page, lobbying for toll free telephone service to Peterborough, a regional Data Services Improvement Program workshop, Broadband initiatives, and the Lifelong Learning Centre. Every few years it re-invents and revitalizes itself and now is the time. Come out to share your ideas on how this organization can continue to help this community develop. As our new name implies, we are looking for new ideas and people with a will to make them happen.
