    We are please to announce that we have 2 new programs in our Community Centres.  The first is a program called ‘Kids and Stitching Class’.  This program is run by volunteers, Sharon Hainer and Robin Miszuk at the Apsley Communtiy Centre on Mondays from 3:30pm to 6:00pm.  This program is geared towards children 10 and up and will teach the participants about healthy nutrition, food preparation and basic sewing skills.  For more info, please contact either Sharon @ 656-1755 or Robin @ 656-9008.     The other program is ‘Karate’ at the Glen Alda Community Centre on Wednesdays and Fridays at 6:30pm.  Please contact David Burke for more info @ 613-337-5768.

    Mark on your calendar December 5th as this is the day of the Annual Lions Christmas Parade and Children’s Party.  The Township will be providing free Public Skating at the Apsley Community Centre following the parade.
Public Skating is held at the Apsley Community Centre every Saturday and Sunday from 12pm to 2pm.  Pick-Up hockey is held on Wednesdays at 8:30pm.  ADULTS, PARENTS & TOTS SKATING is held every Monday morning from 10:30am to 12:00pm.

    The Early Years Centre visits the Wilson Park Community Centre twice monthly ( please refer to calendar of events).  If you have young children this is an excellent program to participate in.  This program is free of charge.
