Spring is in the Air!

The winter season was long and cold but spring is finally here!  The Apsley Minor Hockey League and the Apsley Skating Club had fantastic seasons, mainly do to  the hard working volunteers.   If you would like to volunteer for one of these Clubs, please call 656-4922 and we can provide you with some details.

There will be a Food Handlers Training Course at the Apsley Community Centre in May.  This course is excellent for businesses as well as volunteers.  It will be facilitated by the Peterborough Health Unit and will be free of charge.  Watch for dates or call in April.

We are planning to hold another Fireworks extravaganza at Wilson Park on May 22nd.  There will be music and food for this popular family event.  The show begins at dusk but get there early.

Soccer registration will begin in April.  Forms will be distributed through the Apsley Public School and will also be available at the Municipal Office.  The season will run from May 6th to June 24th.  Games will be played on Thursday evenings from 6:30pm to 7:15 pm at the Apsley Public School.
