APSLEY LIONS
Joan Forsyth

The Lions Meat draw will be held on April 7th at the Lions weekly bingo in the Apsley Centre. Tickets have sold very well, thanks to your continued support.

As the local sponsor for Scouting, we were pleased to help with their efforts to raise the funds for their trip to Ottawa, by sponsoring their recent draws and to help with their collection of aluminum tins. The Club wants to thank everyone for their support to this cause and to the Scouts for their continued efforts to help raise the necessary funds. They have a well-planned itinerary and should have a great time.

Spring is just around the corner and spring cleaning seems to closely follow the weather change. The Lion’s Annual Flea Market will be held on July 17th at the Apsley Arena and we hope you will give us a call to donate those surplus items you find in your sheds and closets.  If you have enough of them, you might want to book a table at the Flea Market for only $25.00. A great place to make a sale. Please call 656-3727 or 656-3220 for further information.
